Jerry Seinfeld - Las Vegas

Jerry Seinfeld returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for two nights of his signature stand-up comedy Dec. 26 and 27. Jerry Seinfeld is best known for his role on NBC’s “Seinfeld,” the most popular and successful sitcom on American television, which was chosen as the best sitcom ever in a poll conducted last month by Vanity Fair and 60 Minutes. His internet show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" launched in 2012, has garnered critical raves, an Emmy nomination, and more than 10 million streaming views. His book “Seinlanguage” was released in 1993 and went on to become a #1 New York Times bestseller. Winning critical acclaim for such diverse projects as “Bee Movie,” touring stand-up comedy performances, and guest-starring with longtime collaborator Larry David in the hit HBO TV show “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Seinfeld continues to reign among the nation’s most popular comedy stars. He has headlined The Colosseum since Dec. 2003 and previously headlined the resort’s Circus Maximus Showroom.

Nashville Unplugged - Las Vegas

Nashville Unplugged, the show that brings hit songwriters and live audiences together for a night of storytelling and entertainment, will be coming to The Quad Resort & Casino showroom during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Dec. 5, 7-11 at 7 p.m. The show is not only a time for the entertainers to perform the hits they authored, but also an opportunity for them to give the audience a behind-the-scenes look at the emotions that inspired the music and how a song finds its way to the top of the charts.

Liberace Foundation - Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hosts Liberace’s return to the Las Vegas Strip for the first time in 30 years as The Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts presents Too Much of a Good Thing Is Wonderful: Liberace and the Art of Costume, an exhibit of the famed pianist’s personal and performance pieces running through Jan.2. The exhibit features a number of Liberace’s decadent belongings such as a rhinestone piano, Liberace’s Rhinestone Roadster, an extravagant, costume collection, opulent European candelabras and video clips of performances. Visitors have the rare opportunity to view intricately-designed pieces from Liberace’s wardrobe including a virgin fox fur coat with 16-foot train, sequined jumpsuits, custom-made cowboy boots and more. The rhinestone piano will be displayed at The Chandelier with the Roadster nearby at the resort’s Las Vegas Boulevard entrance. A large selection of items will be available for exploration inside The Cosmopolitan’s pop-up space,

Jeff Dunham - Las Vegas

The nation’s number one comedian Jeff Dunham and his beloved cast of characters will bring their 2013 “Disorderly Conduct” worldwide tour to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 12^th. Fans all over the world can look forward to a new jam packed show with more laughs than ever before. Dunham’s famed troupe of sidekicks are back: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-fueled redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border José Jalapeño, and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself.

Jubilee - Las Vegas

Jubilee! at Bally’s Las Vegas, the most iconic and longest-running show on the Las Vegas Strip, will undergo a major transformation in early 2014. Leading the charge in ushering the show into the contemporary age is Frank Gatson Jr., one of the most celebrated creative directors and choreographers in the world who has worked with a who’s who list of today’s hottest artists. Gatson will work hand-in-hand with the cast and crew of Jubilee! to bring a bold, fresh new twist to the production while staying true to the spirit of the original show. While the best of the show’s main elements will be preserved as a nod to the past, including the signature costumes and a number of the most iconic sets, the choreography, staging and music will be refreshed for today’s audience. Relive the Music of the Legendary FRANK SINATRA!

Recently awarded the 2012 Excellence in Entertainment Award for TRIBUTE SHOW OF THE YEAR, Shades of Sinatra is an original musical production celebrating the extensive music and career of the great Frank Sinatra. Featuring over 30 of Sinatra's biggest hits, this show pays tribute to most of the signature Sinatra tunes one would expect, as well as several that may be new to casual fans. Its cast members create unique characters that celebrate him in their own ways, often drawing on experiences from their own lives; and in between songs and poignant stories, there is plenty of zany humor and good-natured ribbing among the cast, creating the vintage, off-the-cuff Vegas show atmosphere that is associated with Ol' Blue Eyes himself.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SHOW

The notion of doing a show like Shades of Sinatra originally came from Vegas entertainer Kelly Clinton, who assembled three male singers that she knew were heavily influenced by and who loved to sing Sinatra's songs. She got the idea upon hearing the three of them arguing over album release dates and other Frank trivia one night. Kelly realized that putting singers from different backgrounds and generations together on stage to talk about their love of Frank Sinatra would create an interesting dynamic as a setting in which to sing some of the most beloved popular songs in history.

The three male leads (Carmine Mandia, Larry Liso, Ryan Baker) have been singing for years at restaurants, lounges and corporate events, not to mention production shows paying tribute to Sinatra and the Rat Pack. When Lisa Smith joined the group in 2006, she was a welcome female element, as her character brings not only humor and sexual tension but a real musical spark as well, leveraging her extensive theatrical background.

Since then, the act has evolved and developed over the years, playing in several different Las Vegas venues, as well as private and corporate events outside of the Vegas area. In 2007, under the talented musical direction of Ned Mills ("Lionardo Piano Follies"), the show won its first award for Best Tribute Show from the Entertainment Consumers' Exchange. They have headlined several times at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino and even opened twice for the one and only Don Rickles, at the Golden Nugget and The Orleans Hotel & Casino.

In early 2011, the Shades signed a contract with Ray Wolf Productions to do their show at the Clarion Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, performing several nights a week in the Wolf Theater & Showroom, where they continue to get widespread acclaim from both the press and the public. Having already done over 200 shows at the Clarion since their run began, Shades of Sinatra shows no signs of stopping any time soon!
