The
UFC International Fight Week will return to Las Vegas July 7-12, 2015.
Since its inception, UFC International Fight Week has increased in size
and activities, quickly establishing itself as the world's largest mixed
martial arts celebration. The weeklong festival provides high-energy,
all-star entertainment that the UFC is known to deliver and includes
numerous diverse events providing something for everyone. Signature
events such as UFC Fan Expo, an Official Pool Party with Octagon Girls® a
free concert and Open Workouts will headline the weeklong schedule,
with newer events such as Charity Bowling, and the Ulti-man 5K Race
making their return. Many of the hottest locations around town including
Brooklyn Bowl, The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas, Fremont Street
Experience, LIQUID Pool at Aria and El Cortez will host special
UFC-themed events. In addition, several new amateur and youth combat
sport tournaments will make their debut in Las Vegas during 2015
International Fight Week. The celebration will culminate with a weekend
of action-packed fights, including UFC 189 on July 11.
David Saxe Productions is excited to
announce "VEGAS! The Show," its flagship production in the Saxe Theater
at Planet Hollywood, has reached its five year milestone. The show
opened to rave reviews on June 26, 2010. Over the years, fans have been
thrilled that there is finally a show in Las Vegas about Las Vegas.
Guests can enjoy their favorite iconic songs from beloved artists who
put Las Vegas on the map including The Rat Pack, Wayne Newton, Elvis
Presley, Tom Jones and Sonny & Cher. Add the most beautiful
showgirls and dancers in town and you get everything you would expect
from a Las Vegas music and dance spectacular.
Another show celebrates its anniversary
this month as well... As the longest-running show on the world-famous
Las Vegas Strip, the retro-glam showgirl extravaganza Jubilee! at
Bally's Las Vegas has entertained millions of guests. On July 31st, the
show celebrates 34 years of gorgeous showgirls, lavish costumes,
dazzling scenery, world-renowned specialty acts, dynamic music and
graceful pageantry. Conceived, staged and directed by the legendary Donn
Arden, who brought the spectacular French-style revue "Lido de Paris"
to Las Vegas, Jubilee! is an elaborate stage production.
Mo5aic had its grand opening on June 22nd
at Bally's...and one week later...it abruptly closed on June 29. The a
cappella quintet, sent an email of cancellation from the show producer
Timothy Arellano after a dispute over delinquent rent.
Las Vegas' famed Fremont Street
Experience invites all to come out and celebrate the Fourth of July with
a weekend of free concerts and virtual fireworks. The festivities
include performances from patriotic band, Madison Rising, on Friday,
July 3 and Saturday, July 4 from 9:10 p.m. - 10:40 p.m. on the 1st
Street Stage at Fremont Street Experience in exciting downtown Las
Vegas. Additionally, visual fireworks and patriotic images - set to some
of America's favorite songs - will be shown overhead on Viva Vision on
July 3 and July 4 following each regular Viva Vision show between 8 p.m.
- 1 a.m. Fremont Street Experience's Fourth of July weekend festivities
are free and open to the public. Downtown Las Vegas is the perfect
place for everyone to come celebrate our Nation's birthday.
Legendary comedian and impersonator Rich
Little will return to the Las Vegas Strip with the debut of his new
autobiographical one-man show "Rich Little Live" at the world-famous
Laugh Factory inside The New Tropicana Las Vegas. Featuring a
compilation of impersonations, sketches and interactive video of the
actors, musicians, politicians and personalities Little has worked with
throughout his more than 50 years in entertainment, spanning from his
television career in Canada to his first United States appearances to
the present day, "Rich Little Live" will premiere Tuesday, July 14,
2015, at 7 p.m.
Mark your calendars; the town of Pahrump
is celebrating the birth of our Nation with its annual Liberty Festival.
Firework shows, a horseshoe tournament and many more fun-filled
activities will take place at Petrack Park starting on Friday, July 3
through Sunday, July 5. This jam-packed festival will also feature
kid-friendly activities, free swimming at the public pool and live music

family to join in on the three-day festivity while enjoying various food
and craft vendors and a multitude of Fourth of July fun. Be sure to

Las Vegas headliner Jeff Civillico will perform
a guest residency at Flamingo Las Vegas this summer from Sunday June 14
through Sunday Sept. 6, and will then return to his home at The LINQ
Hotel & Casino after Labor Day Weekend. Civillico will perform two
shows daily 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, dark Friday and
Saturday. The guest residency at the neighboring Flamingo is taking
place during The LINQ Theater's exciting renovations. As the summer is
Jeff's "busy season" with an all-ages show, he's opted for a summer run
at an alternative location right next door. Jeff's show was recently
voted "Best Family Attraction" by readers of the Las Vegas
Review-Journal in its annual "Best of Las Vegas" poll.
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino will welcome
comedian, podcaster and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)
commentator Joe Rogan when he takes the KÁ Theatre stage Friday, July 10
at 9 p.m. With more than 20 years of stand-up experience, Rogan has
sold out shows worldwide and recently released his fourth hour long
comedy special "Joe Rogan: Rocky Mountain High" which premiered on
Comedy Central in November 2014. Since 2002, Rogan has provided
commentary for the UFC which airs on Pay-Per-View outlets and FOX. He
currently hosts "The Joe Rogan Experience," a podcast featuring an array
of guests from the pursuits of comedy, science, social activism and
Mixed Martial Arts.
Two of alternative rock's defining music
artists, Third Eye Blind and Dashboard Confessional, are coming together
for a massive summer tour in 2015. The co-headline tour will make a
stop at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, July 11.
Multi-platinum rock band Alice In Chains
will embark on a headlining U.S. summer tour with a visit to Las Vegas
being the group's second stop. The band will perform at The Pearl inside
Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 8 p.m. News of the
summer run follows the band's recent halftime performance at the NFC
Championship game and will be the first tour since the group's 2013-2014
worldwide run in support of GRAMMY-nominated album The Devil Put
Dinosaurs Here, which entered "Billboard's" Top 200 Chart at No. 2 and
debuted at No. 1 on "Billboard's" Alternative Albums Chart, Top Rock
Albums Chart, Hard Rock Albums Chart and iTunes Rock Album Chart. The
album's success was fueled by its first two singles, "Stone" and
"Hollow," which both hit No. 1 on the rock charts.
